Next month, Goodman Theatre will be presenting The Winter’s Tale (May 4-June 9) written by William Shakespeare and directed by Artistic Director, Robert Falls. A jealous king accuses his wife of infidelity, setting off a calamitous series of events. Falls reimagines one of Shakespeare’s most wildly theatrical tales, following his celebrated productions of King Lear and Measure for Measure. “No modern American director is better at making a play’s iconic moments pop with fresh irreverence” –CHICAGO TRIBUNE.
