These three are exclusively for English majors:
- the Ellin Kelly endowed scholarship in British Literature
- the Charles Arlington scholarship
- the Honors Literature Scholarship
Scholarship amounts range from $1,200 to $10,000, and students are welcome to apply for more than one scholarship.

Ellin M. Kelly Endowed British Literature Award
Awarded to students who have demonstrated their dedication to the study of British Literature as determined by the English Department. Applicants must have completed at least three English courses with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in those courses.

Charles Arlington Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is given to a student majoring in English in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The student must be in good standing and have financial need.
Award:
- $11,000 to an MALP student
- $11,000 to an MAWP or MFA in English student
- Two awards of $11,000 to undergraduate English majors in good standing.
- (Awards will be distributed evenly over three quarters.)

Honors Literature Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to students majoring or dual-majoring in English, who are enrolled in the Honors Program at DePaul University, are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have completed at least three English courses with a minimum GPA of 3.3 in those courses.
