The Department of English at Lehman College, part of the City University of New York, is searching for candidates interested in a Lecture – Writing (English) position. The position is regular full-time beginning Fall 2020.

Necessary qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
• Strong preference for M.A. or M.S. (or Ph.D.) in English, Professional Writing, Journalism, or a closely related field (such as Professional and Technical Writing or Technical Writing and Professional Communication) in hand by the commencement of the appointment on August 26, 2020.
• Also required is the proven ability to teach successfully, a publication history in mainstream or new media venues and/or professional experience as a writer in a public or private organization, and the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
