C&R Call for Submissions + Editorial Positions

C&R Press is looking for submissions for their Tide Pool Series! Submit your best short collection of Poetry, Fiction, Creative Non-fiction, Hybrid, Essay, and or Memoir by October 8th!  Please send your edgy and risk-taking, dynamic work! CHAPBOOK DETAILS:
C&R will select 1-3 chapbooks for publication which include a $100 honorarium, 10 author copies, and a signature C&R Spontaneous Reading Party in Brooklyn, NYC where chapbook authors will headline along with other C&R authors for their friends and family, C&R supporters, and many editors and writing colleagues.  They also invite our chapbook authors to read at AWP and prominently feature our chaps at the BK Book Fest, Miami Book Fest, and AWP. JOB OPENINGS:

Assistant Editor–C&R is looking for applicants with exceptional writing and editing skills, sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet research, and social networking platforms (Twitter, FB, Pinterest, Tumblr).  This position is open for applicants with an MFA (or MFA candidates), and/or a Master’s degree in publishing or literature.    Must also be a self-starter and capable of working independently. Assistant Editors will work remotely and Skype/phone with directors regularly.

Editorial Intern– Looking for applicants with exceptional writing and editing skills, sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet research, and social networking platforms (Twitter, FB, Pinterest, Tumblr).  This position is open for applicants with a BA (or MFA candidates) in writing, publishing, or literature.  Must also be a self-starter and capable of working independently. Editorial Interns will work remotely and Skype/phone with directors regularly.

Reading Intern–Looking for applicants with exceptional critical reading &thinking skills, sharp analytic skills, and meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy. This position is open for applicants who are completing their undergrad degree, or hold a BA in English, Communications, or a related field.  Must also be a self-starter, capable of working independently, and reliable in communication. Readers will work remotely and Skype/phone with directors regularly.
