Murder and Mayhem in Chicago is a one-day mystery conference featuring some of the Midwest’s top mystery/crime writers. It’s an amazing educational and networking opportunity for students.
Now in its second year, Murder and Mayhem in Chicago offers students the opportunity to meet with and learn from successful mystery and crime writers, including guests of honor Gillian Flynn and Jeffrey Deaver. In addition, attendees will hear from crime professionals, like Chicago Police Sergeant Adam Henkels, about the real stories that inspire crime fiction as well as journalists and editors who make these true stories come to life. The conference is perfect for crime readers hoping to find new books and aspiring crime writers hoping to learn about the mystery community and writing and publishing careers.
The conference takes place on March 17, 2018 at the downtown Chicago campus of Roosevelt University, and those interested can register here. As the only crime fiction conference in the Chicagoland area, it’s an event you don’t want to miss.
