Sign up for a three-week intensive seminar in writing and translating poetry! The instructors are Janet Holmes and Clyde Moneyhun, from the MFA program at Boise State University. Jane is a prolific poet and editor of the award-winning Ahsahta Press. Clyde is a translator of contemporary Catalan and Spanish poetry.
The seminar will be taught in Alicante, Spain, and they have worked with the Escuela Elcano there to keep expenses to a minimum. The experience will be transformative for the participants, taking them forward in their own original poetry as well as their translations.
Note that poets who are not currently translators are welcome, as no prior experience or extensive knowledge of a foreign language is necessary.
