The Chippewa Valley Writers Guild is pleased to partner with Cirenaica for their second year of summer residencies! Nestled on 43 acres of hills, farmland, and forest near the quaint village of Fall Creek, Wisconsin, their residencies promise participants of all levels and genres an intensive yet rejuvenating experience amidst an inspiring backdrop.
The first program being offered at Cirenaica is Stranger Than Fiction: On Writing and Narrative Nonfiction and Memoir featuring Goldin Loomis. Join the acclaimed writer and professor for three lively days of practicing the art and craft of telling true stories that are engaging to readers and listeners alike. In addition to the workshop, participants will read and discuss a few brief contemporary works of nonfiction as models for their own work and will do plenty of writing in a relaxed, encouraging, and beautiful enviornment.
The residency takes place June 8-11. The residency costs $280.oo and applications are due May 1. Find out more and apply here.
