Marcom veteran Diana Schneidman, author of Real Skills, Real Income, will discuss the many specialties under the marcom umbrella and review the pros and cons of full-time corporate career versus freelancing.
The event takes place April 19 from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at the US Bank Building (40th floor). More online, or on the official press release.
The second event is a seminar on developmental editing for fiction. The event will be led by Jill Walsh, manuscript editor, writing coach, and current CWIP president. The event takes place on April 25 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center. Find out more online.
