DePaul English faculty, staff, and students are invited to join the Art Institute in celebrating the centennial of beloved, profoundly talented, and Pulitzer Prize winning poet Gwendolyn Brooks.
The event will feature five Pulitzer Prize winning poets – Rita Dove, Yusef Komunyakaa, Natasha Trethewey, Tracy Smith and Gregory Pardlo – reading their favorite poem from Miss Brooks, followed by a conversation moderated by award-winning journalist and author Natalie Moore.
The event takes place February 2, 2017 from 6:00-7:45 PM at the Art Institute of Chicago. The event is free and open to the public, but requires pre-registration online here.
