The nonprofit organization Impact is looking for DePaul students to join them in their work.
Impact is a nonprofit that runs aciton campaigns. They work in states where they can win positive change for the environment, democracy, and our collective future. Impact offers young people a chance to help change issues that matter by joining a team of 50 impact organizers who work together on focused, timely and targeted campaigns. Last year, one team of Impact organizers helped to convince McDonald’s to agree to stop using chicken raised on human antibiotics – an important step to reducing the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms.
Impact is now accepting applications to join their team in August 2016 – as well as vetting candidates for immediate positions and possible internships.
The final fall application deadlines is October 18th. For more information on Impact find their site here; interested candidates apply here.
