One example of Chicago’s thriving live lit scene, 7 Stories: Unscripted takes over Martinʼs Corner Bar in Pilsen (2056 West 22nd Place) this Friday, September 26, at 9 p.m. Emerging writers share their stories in collaborative performances that incorporate live music and visual projection. During intermission, audience members can come onstage to tell brief unscripted stories and compete for free beer.

The Group Project produces 7 Stories on the last Friday of each month. It accepts submissions of original creative nonfiction, fiction, short plays, and prose poems (maximum: 2,000 words) on a rolling basis.
