Please join us next Tuesday, March 4 from 12 – 1 p.m. for a discussion of the little-known Victorian writer and activist Emma Frances Brooke. Barbara Tilley, Visiting Assistant Professor from the Department of Writing, Rhetoric and Discourse will present on Brooke’s life and work, with room for discussion. Tilley is working towards a book proposal, so feedback on her subject and on the process of preparing a book proposal are most welcome! Please take a look at the attached poster and the Facebook event page for more information and share widely with colleagues and students.
Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to attend our Mess Hall sessions, which are intended to provide DePaul scholars with an informal venue for brainstorming, practicing presentations, getting feedback about research, and networking. We’re currently looking for presenters for spring quarter sessions. Please email me if you’re interested. Graduate students and advanced undergrads are welcome to present as well!
