Th e DePaul Humanities Center is proud to inaugurate a new annual series with actor, director, screenwriter, recording artist, author, and artist Crispin Hellion Glover. Perhaps best known for playing eccentric characters in such Hollywood movies as Back to the Future, River’s Edge, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Willard, Charlie’s Angels, and Alice in Wonderland, the multi-talented and multi-faceted Glover has also released an album (featuring the song “Clowny Clown Clown”), directed two fi lms (What Is It? and It is Fine. EVERYTHING IS FINE!) and has published several books (including Rat Catching, Oak-Mot, Concrete Inspection, and What it is and How it is Done). On January 30, Glover will present his one-hour “Big Slide Show,” followed by an on-stage conversation/interview and Q&A with the audience. Th e following evening, Glover will appear at 8 p.m. at Chicago’s Music Box Th eatre to screen his film It is Fine. EVERYTHING IS FINE!
