Bookanista is a literary website recommending books and championing all writers producing great work.

The online magazine contains features, interviews, author recommendations and literary news, as well as showcasing works of short fiction from both established writers and exciting new talent. They are currently looking for unpublished original short stories to publish on the website.

Submissions of up to 5,000 words should be sent as a Word or pdf attachment to newvoices@bookanista.com

Please write ‘short story’ in the subject line along with your title and word count, and be sure to include your full contact details.
