The Lascaux Prize in Short Fiction
The Lascaux Review is an online literary journal that provides a showcase for emerging and established storytellers, poets, and essayists. They welcome submissions from students and teachers of creative writing programs, as well as from other aspiring and seasoned writers of fiction, poetry, and narrative nonfiction.
They are pleased to announce the inaugural Lascaux Prize in Short Fiction and would like to invite writers to submit their best stories. Stories may be previously published or unpublished. Length should not exceed 10,000 words. Entry fee is $5, and authors may enter more than once. Submission deadline is 31 December 2013.
The editors will select a winner and nineteen additional finalists. The winner will receive $500 and publication in The Lascaux Review. All twenty stories will appear in The Lascaux Prize Anthology.
