International Writing Centers Week

Love Across Languages, a multilingual poetry reading. Come share your favorite love poems, in any language, and listen to others read some of their favorites. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome.

Literacy Narratives Reading and Panel Discussion. Join us for a reading of real-life stories about reading, writing, and language, followed by discussion of what these narratives can teach us about writing.

When: Tuesday, February 15. 3:30pm-6pm
Photo Caption Contest. The Lincoln Park Campus Writing Center will be hosting a caption-writing contest throughout International Writing Centers Week. Come to the Writing Center (McGaw 250) to participate and have the chance to win a prize for the best photo caption.

When: All week, beginning at 11 am on Monday, February 14.
The World in So Many Words. Win prizes by correctly answering riddles about the English language’s international roots.
Where: Outside the Lincoln Park Writing Center (McGaw 250)
