Dylan Weir, Summer 2015 graduate, received a Master of Arts in English with distinction. Dylan is now an MFA candidate in Poetry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he teaches introductory creative writing workshops. He also leads poetry workshops for the community at the Madison Public Library. Dylan is spending the 2016 summer working at the Black Earth Institute, a progressive think tank dedicated to re-forging the links between art and spirit, earth and society.
Dylan’s work has appeared in journals such as The Boiler, Blue Earth Review, Rhino, Rust+Moth, Word Riot, as well as The Poetry Foundation, Wisconsin Public Radio, and even on Madison Public Buses. He is Editor of Interviews and Reviews at Devil’s Lake and is currently working on his MFA thesis debut poetry collection under the direction of esteemed poet Amaud Jamaul Johnson.
